About the Author

Marie Noe has more than 20 years of experience in aromatherapy. She studied at the Czech Institute of Aromatherapy from 2003 to 2005 and was actively engaged in aromatherapy practice from 2008 to 2018.

In recent years, she has focused mainly on education, professional training, consulting, and evidence-informed work with essential oils and other aromatic materials. She continues her professional education and follows developments in the international aromatherapy community.

She is a member of the Expert Advisory Group of OSČA, the Professional Society of Czech Aromatherapy.

In 2014, she published Aromaterapie do kapsy (Aromatherapy in Your Pocket) in Czech. A substantially expanded and revised second edition followed in 2023.

In 2025, the English print edition was published  under the title The Pocket Encyclopaedia of Aromatherapy. The e-book edition followed in 2026.
